The charity provides a variety of support to people who are vulnerable, disadvantaged or a risk of exclusion across the West of Scotland.
The Officer is creative in their outlook, working with each carer to create a break that meets their individual needs.
Responsible for overseeing the digital application process and assisting carers with their application as required.
* Responsible for leading the assessment panel, planning meeting dates and ensuring all panel members have access to information prior to meeting.
* Responsible for collating data from the short breaks programme to support future planning, as well as monitoring and reporting.
* Prepare monthly status reports and undertake other monitoring and evaluation as required.
* Maintain a sound knowledge of the National and Local Carers Strategy and any changes to benefit entitlements for carers.
* It is essential to be educated to standard grade General Level or equivalent in a minimum of four subjects one of which should be English.
* Experience in overseeing a large project is essential.
* Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously essential.
* Driving Licence is desirable.
