Bennett and Game Recruitment are currently working with a well-established transport and logistic company based in the Dudley area. Due to ongoing success, an exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.
Our client pride themselves as a family run business and specialise in supply chain management, logistics and warehousing.
Business Development Manager Position Overview
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
- Carry out client and key stakeholder visits to maintain strong relationships.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential markets and trends.
- Lead negotiations and successfully close deals to meet revenue targets.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and objections effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.
Business Development Manager Position Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Experience working within the Transport industry (Advantageous)
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets / generating new business
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages
- Excellent time management with ability to prioritise workload
- Full driving licence
Business Development Manager Position Remuneration
- Competitive salary - Dependant on experience
- Company car / allowance - to be discussed
