Job Description
As A Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Prospecting and developing new business across your region
- Managing a number of projects, whilst maintaining a high level of customer services
- Maximising the potential of your existing customer base by developing strong relationships
- Draw on your network across the construction industry to ensure you are ahead of any new/potential projects
- Carry out market research and attend trade shows
- Implement a sales strategy across your region with the view to grow sales, profit and reputation
- Work with internal and external stakeholders
- Attend site to grow and develop internal relationships
The Successful Applicant
The successful Business Development Manager will need...
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding company set targets
- Ability to develop strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
- Be a proactive individual, that is able to work effectively as part of a wider team
- Be an excellent communicator who is able to provide technical advise
- A strong rapport builder with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
- Travel to site on a weekly basis as well as to meet customers as and when required
