Job Description

As A Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Prospecting and developing new business across your region
  • Managing a number of projects, whilst maintaining a high level of customer services
  • Maximising the potential of your existing customer base by developing strong relationships
  • Draw on your network across the construction industry to ensure you are ahead of any new/potential projects
  • Carry out market research and attend trade shows
  • Implement a sales strategy across your region with the view to grow sales, profit and reputation
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attend site to grow and develop internal relationships

The Successful Applicant

The successful Business Development Manager will need...

  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding company set targets
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Be a proactive individual, that is able to work effectively as part of a wider team
  • Be an excellent communicator who is able to provide technical advise
  • A strong rapport builder with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Travel to site on a weekly basis as well as to meet customers as and when required
