Curriculum Lead - Sales

Primary Purpose of the Role: Are you passionate about developing and enhancing apprenticeship programs? We're looking for a dynamic Curriculum Lead - Sales to oversee the development and quality assurance of our Sales Apprenticeship Standards, including Sales Executive Level 4 and IT Technical Sales Level 3. You will play a critical role in shaping the learning experiences of our apprentices, ensuring they meet industry standards and achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and review curriculum materials such as lesson plans, learning activities, slide decks, and assessments.
  • Ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards, regulations, and programme objectives.
  • Apply instructional design principles to create engaging, effective learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with Training and Skills Coach teams to align curriculum with apprentice and employer expectations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with ESFA, Ofsted, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices, incorporating active learning strategies and technology.
  • Carry out Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) activities to ensure curriculum quality.
  • Support and develop staff through continuous professional development (CPD) and tailored action plans.
  • Identify and achieve curriculum targets to drive improvements and surpass national success rates.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Apprenticeships, ESFA, and government funding streams.
  • Expertise in sales methodologies, including negotiations, handling objections, and closing sales.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • IT literate with strong communication and networking abilities.
  • Experience in a training provider or educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Ability to influence positively, work under pressure, and demonstrate resilience.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, L4 CET, or similar) is essential.
  • Proven experience in writing and/or delivering sales apprenticeships or training courses.
  • Experience with the full sales process in Business to Business (B2B)
