Customs Coordinator required. Our client is a Third-Party Logistics provider and bonded warehouse operator, with a heritage of 30+ years within the logistics market. The business offers a wide range of services, including warehousing, transportation, customs, and distribution.

Position:

Our client is currently seeking a Customs Coordinator to join their dedicated team. The Customs Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and compliant international transportation of Tobacco, Alcohol and other products for their valued clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all international shipments comply with relevant customs regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare and process customs documentation, including import and export declarations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Liaise with customs authorities, clients, and internal teams to resolve any customs-related issues and provide timely updates.
  • Stay abreast of changes in customs regulations and tariffs, ensuring the company's procedures are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy in customs documentation and adherence to established procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns related to customs clearance and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customs coordination, preferably in the bonded warehousing sector.
  • Strong understanding of international customs regulations, import/export documentation, and procedures.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in processing customs documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and authorities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.

Position Remuneration:

  • Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.
  • Company pension scheme
  • Location: Smethwick
