Sales Office ManagerJob type: PermanentHours: Full-timeSalary: £40-£45,000/annumLocation: CarlisleWe’re looking for an experienced Sales Manager on behalf of a unique and innovative business, specialising in the supply of materials to the construction industry. The role: Leading a busy sales team in achieving sales targets, business development and supporting overall business activities. Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving sales targets and profitability by delivering excellent customer service
  • Day to day management of the sales office team ensuring the department operates smoothly, efficiently and effectively in line with company values
  • Analysing sales performance, identifying trends and tracking performance against key metrics
  • Making data-driven recommendations for change, improvement and growth across the sales function
  • Collaborating with marketing and the wider team on sales lead generation and business development
  • Providing support, direction and management of the sales office team, ensuring that processes and procedures are followed
  • Support the sales office team with all sales related enquiries including product availability and lead-time, pricing and logistics queries
  • Conducting annual reviews and set personal objectives, with review dates to manage and evaluate performance and productivity
  • Motivating, training and developing the sales team as required, ensuring a training plan is in place for employees as part of the review process

Requirements

  • Proven record in achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • A desire to build and maintain relationships
  • The ability to work in a busy office environment
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to meet business and customer demands
  • Full UK Drivers Licence
