Payroll Administrator - Part-time

Salary - £26k (FTE)

Processing of weekly and monthly payroll for employees and PAYE contractors.

Your responsibilities

• Collate payroll data for monthly payroll

• Update master spreadsheet with payroll data

• Attend monthly payroll meetings with HR

• Obtain timesheet data for weekly contractor payroll

• Chase missing timesheets for contractors

• Administer NEST pension portal for PAYE contractor’s

• Reconcile contractor holiday pay in Excel

• Process new starters/leavers

• Process payroll in Earnie

• Post payroll journals in SAP B1

• Submit RTI/FPs submissions

• Create BACS payments for payroll’s and HMRC payments

• Year-end payroll processing

• Produce salary information required for annual statutory accounts and audit requests

• Attend payroll seminars and workshops

• Other ad-hoc tasks that may materialise from time to time

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified by experience

• Confident in MS Excel Skills

• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills (Able to communicate at all levels)

• High level of payroll knowledge and able to deal with payroll queries accurately and promptly

• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment.

• Strong team spirit, with the ability to work with different groups

• Always looking for continuous improvement.

• Good time management skills – ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work and meet deadlines.

• Strong focus on attention to detail and the desire to deliver accuracy and quality

• Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines

• Recruitment industry knowledge desirable, but not essential
