As the eCommerce Trade and Merchandise Manager, you will play a pivotal role in achieving annual sales targets through developing and executing effective on-site merchandising, trade, and promotional strategies across our International markets. You will collaborate closely with the Performance Marketing, eCommerce, Pricing, Planning, Marketing and Operations teams to develop and execute a robust online strategy and drive continuous growth for Cricut's international eCommerce business.
Your responsibilities will encompass enhancing on-site engagement and driving revenue through eCommerce merchandising and promotional initiatives.
TRADING AND OPERATIONS :
Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities, pricing strategies, and merchandising tactics to optimize ROI and sales performance.
Plan and execute promotional activities, such as seasonal sales, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, Warehouse Sales, etc. to drive operational and financial success.
Collaborate the Operations and Demand Teams to define the right assortment for eCommerce based on sales history, trends and company goals.
Ensure product availability and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand and promotional calendar.
Monitor category and product performance and identify growth opportunities to improve sell through rate and increase AOV for eCommerce.
Manage and maintain the eCommerce promotional calendar to enable cross functional visibility and planning
Manage KPI analysis across sales and stock, reporting on a daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal base; Push product performance on eCommerce site and ensure that all categories perform according to financial goals, driving "digital space productivity".
Roll-out and maintain web merchandising activities such as product sorting, on site search management, cross sell/up sell and on-site promotional messaging to drive both turnover and profitability by increasing average order value and pieces per transaction.
Manage and deploy AB tests to adapt navigation, category listings and onsite content to constantly improve and optimize core KPIs such as Conversion Rate and AOV.
Work with the eCommerce manager to create and maintain product listings, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and prices.
Work with Performance Marketing partners to execute customer acquisition and retention marketing campaigns.
CONTENT AND CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT :
Contribute to the building and management of the eCommerce go to market calendar, ensuring plans to support relevant campaigns and evergreen content drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and boost online sales.
Lead website enhancements and initiatives across International Markets to constantly improve the customer journey, increase conversion, reduce bounce rate and cart abandonment.
Acts as main point of contact for activities related to international site experiences, working cross functionally with Web Ops, Digital Marketing, Operations, Planning/Allocation, and Marketing Global teams.
Upload of content on the site CMS including but not limited to homepage banners, page headers, promotional banners and other assets when needed.
Implement SEO best practices to drive organic traffic to the eCommerce site.
Review sales daily / weekly / by promotion to plan future activity and track sales performance to budget, forecast & LY by promotion and key web metrics.
Report on Daily/Weekly/Monthly sales reporting & analysis, providing actionable insights.
Present eCommerce sales performance to leadership and cross functional partners regularly.
Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities in product placement, promotions, and merchandising strategies.
Translate data and analytics into actionable insights to drive sales and support other business functions.
Minimum 5 years experience in E-Commerce and familiarity with backend management of Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Proven experience in trade/online merchandising with exposure to digital/marketing and sound commercial acumen to manage price and promotion
Highly numerate and excellent planning & analytical capabilities.
A love for the mechanics of e-commerce, with a keen eye for driving conversion.
Skills and interest of ecommerce systems, internet technologies and user shopping journey insights to drive merchandise sales, customer acquisition and retention.
Outstanding organisational and planning skills with ability to multitask effectively
Experience in using analytical tools to draw insights and report on website performance (GA4)
