This is an exciting opportunityfor a highly motivated and enthusiasticPublic Health Officer to join our public health team.
The public health team is a specialist, multidisciplinary team within Herefordshire Council that undertake a breadth of work supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents and communities.
This role will focus on health improvement, more specifically Tobacco Control within the public health team. The role will work closely with colleagues from across the team and wider council. The Public Health officer will sit within Herefordshire Public Health, leading on Tobacco Control and Smoke Free Generation activity, reporting to the Public Health Lead and Public Health Consultant for Adult Health Improvement.
The candidate will have excellent communication and organisations skills, be creative and flexible and be able to create a positive working atmosphere.The role will also provide plentiful opportunities for personal development and suitable for those interested in pursuing a career public health.
