What you will be doing:

As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll be a key member of the team, helping to design and implement new modules as well as troubleshoot and remediate any defects identified within the platform. You'll conduct code reviews with peers, maintain detailed documentation, and help integrate ServiceNow with other business systems.

Your responsibilities will include…

  • Develop, Test & support delivery of new ServiceNow applications, modules, and user stories within designated sprint cycles.
  • Troubleshoot and support remediation of any platform, application, or coding defects.
  • Actively engage with colleagues to support and understand new platform requirements, develop fit for purpose solutions, and help the team to maintain an accurate product backlog.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain and ensure ongoing alignment to best practice standards in coding, integration, quality, and security.
  • Collaborate across other IT teams and business functions to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow solutions with other systems.
  • Seek and develop solutions that support ongoing process optimisation.
  • Ensure the controlled and effective implementation of high-quality solutions into the production environment.
  • Provide technical and solution guidance to the internal team and provide advice and best practice recommendations to the ServiceNow Team Manager.
  • Support the ServiceNow platform owner in assessing new development ideas and help drive continuous improvement.

In return for your commitment:

Could you be the one?

We are looking for talented individuals who have the experience and knowledge set out below:

  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator is essential.
  • Good knowledge and experience of ITSM module is essential.
  • Qualifications in or working towards ITIL V3/V4 foundation is essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
  • Good knowledge of ITOM module (including CMDB) is desirable.
  • Previous experience working within an AGILE framework and methodology is desirable
  • Previous experience of JavaScript is desirable
  • Previous experience of API or SOAP or Rest Integration is desirable
