**The Purpose of the Role**:
**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Provide support and contribute to the development of the initial implementation
- Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
- Manages Update Set creation and migration
- Schedules and verifies instance clones
- Leads ServiceNow upgrade planning and execution
- Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
- Contributes to ServiceNow releases
- Maintain CMDB
- Build and maintain service catalogues
- Manage and maintain workflows
- Champion the use of ServiceNow with business users, ensuring the solution meets the business needs
- Assist with system governance

**Qualifications, Experience & Skills**:

- Experience with supporting business users- Preferably worked in development
- Experienced at project based work
- Experience with enterprise management systems (SNOW preferable, but not prerequisite)
- Java experience preferable
- Key skills will be effective communication, a great team player, can work under pressure, dynamic and comfortable working in a changing environment.
- To act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly (compulsory)
- Work effectively as one IT and Change community across the business
- Embrace the philosophy and principles of Post Offices
- Understands and applies Post Office working practices, policies and procedures
- Ability to understand complex business processes

- Ability to understand the big picture as well as having a strong attention to detail
- Self-starter / able to effectively manage own workload and work under pressure
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Experience of managing suppliers to deliver technical projects
