Minerva is thrilled to offer an exceptional career opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Hospital Manager to lead our brand new, state-of-the-art Neurological Centre in York. This cutting-edge facility features spacious accommodation for up to 40 individuals and includes four home environment assessment and rehabilitation flats. Located just 10 minutes from the city centre, our centre provides easy access to community facilities, vocational opportunities, and excellent transport links.

Position: Hospital Manager

Location: York

Facility: Neurological Centre

Benefits & Remuneration:

  • Salary: Up to £63,250 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Bonus: Up to 10% stakeholder bonus.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
  • Holiday: 38 days holiday entitlement (inclusive of bank holidays).

Role & Qualifications:

  • Essential: Previous experience as a Registered Manager with a clinical background.
  • Desirable: Clinical qualification or live nurse PIN.
  • Qualifications: QCF/NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of statutory requirements, legislation, and quality standards.
  • Experience: Proven track record in managing high-quality residential services and clinical teams.
  • Skills: Ability to manage budgets, financial systems, and guide staff through formal supervisions and appraisals.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work unsociable hours and travel for training/meetings.
