Business Support Lead

Looking for a fresh challenge Then this rewarding opportunity could be for you. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time, Business Support Lead for our Fostering Support Teams based at Worrall House in West Malling.
The Business Support Team provides a comprehensive level of support to Social Workers, Team Managers and Service Managers. The role involves,
- The direct line supervisionof 8 experienced Business Support Officers,
- Working collaboratively with our second Business Support Lead in the Fostering Assessment Service, to ensure the Business Support workload is managed across both teams.
You will need excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to proactively manage your workload, whilst supporting the management of workload across the wider team. Ideally, you will have previous experience of line management and a strong administrative background. You should have good numeracy skills, attention to detail and be able to work to financial procedures and best practice. You should be confident in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite and be willing to undertake training on our bespoke databases. Minute taking skills are preferable for this role.
You will need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with professionals and organisations, acting as a contact point for the service, coordinating a range of tasks and monitoring staff performance. The work is interesting, varied and demanding, and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team. There is some travel in this role.
