Procurement Assistant - 3-month rolling contract Join our team as a Procurement Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our Procurement department. We are looking for individuals with strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in IT software. Prior experience in an administration role is beneficial, but if you possess the right skills and enthusiasm, we encourage you to apply. Key Skills and Responsibilities: Purchase Quotations: Accuracy in Quotations: Generate precise purchase quotations using Microsoft Dynamics. Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate quotations. Record Management: Maintain and update quotation records as needed. Fleet Management Support: Fine Processing: Assist the Fleet Manager in processing vehicle-related fines. Coordination: Gather necessary information from relevant departments for fine processing. Documentation: Keep detailed records of fines and related documents. Administrative Support: Data Analysis: Support the Procurement department with data analysis and reporting, including fuel reports and spend analysis. General Administration: Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and organizing financial documents. Inquiry Handling: Manage incoming inquiries and redirect them appropriately. What we are looking for: Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes. Flexibility: Ability to assist with various tasks within the Procurement department as needed. IT Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft software is essential; experience with fleet management processes is a plus. This role will be office-based from our Exeter Head Office.
