For our Fine Chemicals department, we are currently looking for a Business Manager working remote for our UK offices in Macclesfield and Crawley .

Your tasks:

  • Management and mentoring of the Fine Chemicals team located in Macclesfield
  • Strengthen the European sales activities, solidifying existing business and strengthening product cross-selling
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Supports with strategic new business development (market analysis, identifying new target customer, performing joined customer visits)
  • Leads annual budgeting and monthly reporting for the assigned territory
  • Stays up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations

Your profile:

  • Academic background in Chemistry, Pharmaceuticals and/or natural science
  • 5 years of experience in chemical distribution
  • Experience with intermediates and starting materials used within the pharmaceutical synthesis process, gained in chemical distribution or with a CDMO
  • Ability to travel regularly within Nordmann entities throughout Europe
  • Excellent communication, coordination and teamwork skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English, other European language is a plus
