ABL Group is a leading global independent energy and marine consultant working in energy and oceans to de-risk and drive the energy transition across the renewables, maritime, and oil and gas sectors, offering the deepest pool of expertise across marine and engineering disciplines in more than 300 locations globally.
The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation and translation of the group strategy into engaging multi-channel marketing initiatives, specifically for group companies OWC and Longitude, as well as associated companies. The roles’ objective is to support the organization in building brand awareness amongst target audiences, build campaigns around identified growth areas, and to ultimately reach its sales goals.
The marketing manager will develop a consistent brand voice for brand companies and their respective campaigns, influencing both employee and consumer behaviours regarding the brand. Working to KPIs, the marketing manager will work with one or more marketing assistants to drive this brand voice across all marketing and comms channels.
The role will cover oversight and implementation of outbound and inbound marketing strategies across but not limited to:
· PR and media relations
· Content creation incl. videos and other multimedia
· Events and conferences
· Digital marketing
· Collateral and brand literature
What you will be doing.The marketing manager will maintain direct and regular comms with internal stakeholders across the business, managing requests with the team and in line with the group marketing plan. They will report to the Group Marketing Director.
This role works as part of a highly dynamic and creative group marketing team. Overall, the marketing manager will collaborate with the wider team and Director to build a relevant, engaging, and agile brand story, synonymous with the group, ensuring a positive brand experience for both clients and colleagues alike.- Website content management and creation
- Day-to-day social media management, with delivery supported by the marketing assistant.
- Regular PR – working with the PR manager, ensuring all major contract wins and strategic wins are covered.
- Support in delivery of dynamic digital marketing plan, driving targeted marketing of sectors, services, and regions
- Driving forward increased email marketing campaigns with client segmentation
- Synergies with Zoho CRM
- Driving content and design creation for group websites
- Engaging with SEO results and linking with content and design work
- Develop and drive communication campaigns around events / conferences in the calendar.
- Develop and drive campaigns relevant to the brand(s)
- Support team in execution and maintenance of marketing collateral.
- Manage mkt. part of integrations for relevant M&A
- Internal stakeholder management
- Direct line report for one marketing assistant
- Content creation
- Assistance on M&As as and when they happen.
- Support marketing in other ABL Group companies as and when necessary.
The role is based in London, and the incumbent has the right to work and reside in the UK.
What we are looking for.- BSc – in marketing, business or equivalent desirable, but otherwise in another subject
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a marketing or BD role
- Effective management of internal and external stakeholder relations
- Demonstrable line management experience
- Demonstrable example of bringing product / service / brand to market
- Content marketing experience
- Strategic visionary and analytical
- Exceptional communications skills, advocacy and ability to move organizations to think outside the box
- Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual
- Impeccable organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be both diplomatic and a leader
- A decisive individual who possesses a “big picture” perspective with dedication to growing the business
- Excellent networking skills
- Market knowledge or technical understanding of energy and / or marine industries
- Digital marketing knowledge
- Google ads / google analytics experience
