Key Objectives:

You will work under the Head of Business Systems, primarily administering and maintaining the company’s key systems, Syspro ERP and the bespoke CRM system, Altido. The role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including providing system administration support for these platforms.

Using SQL you will enhance ERP system operations and support integration projects aimed at connecting internal systems with third-party applications using middleware, particularly in XML and CSV formats.

In addition to system administration, you will assist in the design and development of data warehouses to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval. Supporting the creation of Power BI reports and datasets, contributing to the company's business intelligence and decision-making processes. This position is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of critical business systems and enhancing the company's data analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in administering and supporting all company systems, including Syspro ERP and Altido CRM systems.
  • Supporting the IT team in delivering new systems and data integration solutions.
  • Learning and utilising SQL for data management and system support.
  • Supporting system integrations with third-party applications using middleware.
  • Assisting in the development of data warehouses.
  • Supporting in creating and maintaining Power BI reports and datasets.
  • Collaborating with third-party vendors for system management and support.
  • Ensuring data integrity and system security.
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users
  • Providing Departmental cover in the absence of the Head of Business Systems ensuring continuity and smooth operation of critical business systems

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Previous entry level experience in similar role
  • Basic knowledge of scripting and reporting
  • Knowledge or certifications in SQL, ERP systems, or Business Intelligence tools.
  • Familiarity with XML and CSV data formats.
  • Interest in data warehouse design and development
  • Confident using Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Basic understanding of integration middleware and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly bespoke or custom-built solutions.
  • Exposure to data visualisation tools and techniques.
  • Basic proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Basic understanding of IT support processes and helpdesk systems.
  • Experience or coursework related to business intelligence and analytics.
