Senior Manager: Go-to-market strategy

We are a boutique M&A and Transformation Consultancy based in London. Our team works with range of global clients in Life sciences, consumer products and infrastructure sectors. Our Transformation practice is a priority area for growth. We work on strategy through to implementation of programs to support growth, optimise costs and create value for our clients.
To support our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for an experienced management consultant at Senior Manager level to design and implement Transformation programs with focus on Go-to-market strategy . In this role, you will have the opportunity to assess and transform Go-to-market strategy, assess channels and eCommerce capability; design a world class Sales and Marketing organisation, improve Customer experience, and enable organisation to be data and insight led in the Pharma and Bio-Pharma sectors
To be successful in this role, you will use your project management skills, ability to glean insights from data, draw linkages between financial data, current state and develop a future state based on your experiences and deliver meaningful transformation to our clients. The role is hybrid with 2-3 days in our offices in Central London and may require some travel within London and across Europe. Applications close on May 15, 2024. Full-time, permanent hires only.
Responsibilities
- Lead development of Go-to- market strategy and future operating model with detailed mapping of current and future processes, and roles and responsibilities
- Understand customer journeys and develop and implement solutions to improve customer experience
- Transform the Sales and Marketing function to be highly effective and be digital and data led
- Lead engagements or workstreams within a program with accountability for successful delivery of client outcomes
- Drive alignment on program objectives and develop structured project plans. Be responsible for day-to-day program management with clear mapping of interdependencies
- Manage stakeholders and facilitate workshops, regular project and gate meetings. Track and share progress, risks, and issues and ensure timely delivery of key milestones
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to understand issues at strategic and tactical levels, overlapping initiatives and join the dots across the program
- Create effective presentation material to share findings clearly and recommend ingenious solutions
Qualifications
- Management consulting experience of at least 8+ years
- Experienced in companywide or function specific transformation projects
- Experienced in sales force and marketing model redesign, channel analysis, customer journey mapping and customer experience transformation
- Track record of realizing improvements, tangible business benefits for clients
- Strong project management skills and experienced in facilitating workshops and with a discipline to execute on timelines and track for improvement.
- Strong organization and presentation skills
- Excellent at building client relationships and communication at all levels.
- Strategic thinker who can deal well with ambiguity and influence and shape direction of stakeholders
- Highly analytical with strong fact-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experienced in Pharma/Bio Pharma, Medical Devices, FMCG or Manufacturing sectors
