Job Overview:

An HR Manager helps an organisation run smoothly by ensuring that all company employment and operation processes are compliant with employment regulations and that all personnel act in line with company policies. A large part of the job is recruitment and proactive seeking out candidates resolving HR issues and supporting operation-related activities. The ideal candidate will help the company to attract the best candidates for potential and open positions.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Overseeing recruitment, selection and the onboarding process
  2. Ensuring that a company’s procedures comply with employment regulations
  3. Managing and training the HR team
  4. Monitoring various aspects of an employee’s performance in accordance with employment policy
  5. Managing a company’s appraisal system
  6. Accessing the need for training and then designing and implementing training programs accordingly
  7. Handling any disciplinary processes and formal grievances
  8. Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee perks and benefits
Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or above in HR, Business or a relevant field is a strong advantage
Experience: Proven experience as an HR manager or in a similar role is preferred
Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalize ideas. Strong leadership skills to guide an HR team and support and motivate staff. A solid understanding of the key principles of employment law. The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts. Knowledge of the relevant computer systems and software programs including HRSmart software. Solid ethics and morals and sound judgment.
