Our eCommerce team manages a wide variety of projects for our clients, across eCommerce consultancy, audits, replatforming, and roadmapping. We are a team of experienced consultants providing forward-thinking eCommerce consultancy and strategy services, delivered by experienced, unbiased specialists.

We’re currently going through an exciting phase of growth and are looking for an eCommerce Executive to join our eCommerce team, with the view to progress into a Junior eCommerce Consultant role. 

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate for this role will have a genuine interest plus a strong understanding of the eCommerce landscape, including well-known eCommerce technologies and common principles for creating best-in-class online customer experiences. The candidate will also have experience with the following:

  • Creating positive and engaging eCommerce experiences that meet best practices with proven results.
  • Identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation across a brand’s eCommerce strategy, with the ability to present these cohesively with rationale and examples. 
  • Working across multiple clients in a team capacity, supporting projects with differing timelines and priorities.
  • Supporting the execution of set deliverables both independently and as part of a team to achieve set goals or objectives within a specific timeframe. 
  • Working with widely used technologies within the eCommerce ecosystem.
  • Experience with account management at a client-facing level.
  • Experience working within the fashion, beauty or lifestyle verticals is advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting A/B testing strategies for conversion rate optimisation.

What will you do?

This is an exciting and diverse role where the candidate will be a key member of the team, supporting across a wide range of client projects and deliverables including:

  • Supporting full eCommerce site audits, with a particular focus on UX/CX.
  • Supporting with account management and coordination of replatforming and redesign projects alongside other team members. 
  • Supporting the eCommerce team in day-to-day execution of client tasks and deliverables on an ad-hoc basis. 
  • Working with the team to gather requirements, build project specifications and create project documentation.
  • Staying on top of eCommerce best-practices and best-in-class UX/CX examples. 
  • Supporting across core aspects of projects including design, development and user testing. 
  • Attending client meetings (face-to-face and online), writing minutes where relevant and sharing clear actions with all meeting stakeholders. 
  • Building a strong rapport with clients to nurture new and existing relationships. 
  • Participating in team training to educate the wider business around core ecommerce topics and trends. 
  • Supporting qualitative and quantitative data analysis as part of client benchmarking and A/B testing.

Skills & Requirements

  • 2+ years experience working in an eCommerce focused role (preferably from an agency background).
  • Strong knowledge of core eCommerce principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of widely used eCom technologies and platforms and their uses.
  • Knowledge of Shopify is essential, with an understanding of Magento, Salesforce, BigCommerce and other leading platforms.
  • Experience with day-to-day management of client accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage moving priorities within tight deadlines. 
  • A strong eye for detail and visual presentation to showcase data or information in a digestible and engaging way.
  • Proven analytical skills to turn qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
  • Working knowledge of GA4 is essential and Search Console is beneficial.
  • Team player, with proven ability to also work autonomously when required.
  • Solid understanding of wider eCommerce practices and strategies from acquisition to conversion and retention channels. 
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (import/export, data mapping etc)
  • Clear passion for eCommerce with a willingness to continually learn and develop.
