Planning Purpose
The full build and management of schedules, their working interfaces and engagement with relevant stakeholders.
Maintenance and Management of Baselines to support contractual and performance metrics.
Provide meetings and workshops to challenge the progress and performance of projects.
Support Planning / Project Controls Managers to maintain schedules and their interfaces.
Manage the contract requirements for the schedules.
Provide advanced hierarchical reporting outputs such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
Experience of Integration of function corelating Schedule, Cost and Risk.
Provide Critical Path evaluation and scenario planning options to mitigate issues andimprove efficiencies

Tender Experience.
Contract Experience (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, Rail Frameworks).
Strong Stakeholder Management Skills.
Professional Memberships / Accreditations.
Strong Reporting Experience.
Mentorship / Leadership Experience.
Strong Risk Management Experience (Including QSRA).
Strong in Schedule Checks and Assurance Measures.
Desirable:
Forensic Planning.
Certified P6 / Asta. Powerproject.
Experience of Multiple Large Multi - Discipline Projects.
Specific to role advertised:
Proven experience in the rail industry.
Understanding of Rail Systems and Technologies.
Experience of Rail Contracts.
Knowledge of the regulatory bodies and DfT.
Experience of Integrated multi-discipline Schedules.
Strong co-ordination and Stakeholder Experience.
