My client is a dynamic and innovative construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on client satisfaction, I am looking for a highly skilled Lead Planner to join their team and lead their planning function on a major data centre project in London.
This is a crucial senior role that will determine the success of their projects in terms of both time and money.
As my client is operating under an NEC 4 contract, planning is particularly onerous, requiring a senior, skilled planner to implement the correct reporting procedures and change management. Lead the planning function to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Implement comprehensive reporting procedures and change management processes in line with NEC 4 contract requirements.
Provide bid support for construction projects, demonstrating proven experience in securing successful project bids.
Utilise P6 software to develop and maintain project schedules.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of planning activities with project objectives.
Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate potential delays or issues.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior planning staff.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the role of Senior Planner (highly desirable)
Extensive experience with NEC contracts and their planning requirements (highly desirable)
Proficiency in P6 software is essential.
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
