HSEQ Manager | Hertfordshire | Pharmaceutical, Construction, Energy

Permanent position: Competitive salary + Car allowance + Company Benefits

ENG Bauen is proud to support this major international EPC as they aim to increase the size of their Project controls and Engineering division to deliver an array of ground-breaking projects across the UK. These projects vary in size and scope and are typically valued between £10M - £50M.

On offer is the chance to be involved in upgrade of a research and development facility for one of the most well-known pharmaceutical organisations in the world, working directly within the EPC delivery team. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, quality, and environmental regulations on-site and with your team.

This is an ideal position for an HSE manager with experience supporting highly complex industrial engineering and construction projects, ideally within the energy or Pharmaceutical sector.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing and implementing health, safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Conducting risk assessments and developing risk management strategies
  • Monitoring and reporting on HSQE performance
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify any areas of non-compliance
  • Ensuring that all personnel are trained and competent to carry out their roles safely and effectively
  • Promote the use of the company’s HSE Management System

The ideal person:

  • A HSE Manager with experience working on large CAEPX projects
  • Strong communication skills – the ability to bridge the gap between site and stakeholders
  • Auditing and inspection experience
  • A strong knowledge of HSE Legislation
  • A degree in a relevant subject (e.g. environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline)
  • A NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
