Sitting within the Talent, Communication and Culture team, the role of the Communications Coordinator is to provide day to day support to our Communications Manager in delivering our communication and marketing strategies and plans. A key part of this will be supporting External Communications.
The role is Hybrid with a mixture of working from home and from our head office in Swindon. Flexible/part time working options are available.
Support the delivery of the marketing and communication strategy and plans
Write content for both print and digital including the company website, newsletters, intranet and award entries
Admin support in budget planning and monitoring
Stays up-to-date on social media trends to provide recommendations and ideas to our Communications Manager
Research and write press stories and content for the company websites
Monitoring press coverage and liaising with customer service team
Creating on brand images/graphics to use internally and externally
Help and promote the Smiths News brand - making sure that all communication and marketing materials meet the company’s brand guidelines

A passion for language and an eye for design
Strong copywriting and content skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
