Systems Product Engineer required for fast growing, progressive and successful international Aerospace Manufacturer.
Job Title: Systems Product Engineer (Permanent)
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Mon-Friday days)
This is a new role within the Systems sub-team of the Engineering Department. The role is responsible for engineering work relating primarily to Flow Control and Pressure Regulation devices.
Work closely with the Project Manager to help plan and organise various tasks and resources for delivery of contract milestones.
Regular interaction with the customer with responsibility for leading reviews, co-ordinating and preparing the documentation for project key milestone reviews: Training and development of other members of the Systems team to increase the experience level within the team.
FMECA, Radiation Analysis, Reliability Analysis, etc.)
ATP cost reduction, ensuring a robust but low cost ATP for components and units.
Supporting technicians/test engineers to run QTP testing and ATP testing.
Support the system level build, assembly and test development process to include reviewing route cards, build sequences and the different processes involved in the system assembly and integration
Assist with preparation, scheduling, coordination and monitoring of assigned technical aspects of the project.
Raise and manage project level RFDs.
Ensure seamless collaboration with the Project Manager, highlighting where necessary an accurate assessment of risks and issues, along with mitigation strategies.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with Project Manager and other project team participants to provide assistance and technical support where needed.
Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Relevant Engineering Degree (Masters preferred)
Thorough understanding of mechanical and fluidic system engineering


Proven ability preparing the documentation for project key milestone reviews: Ability to support all aspects of system level build, assembly and test development process
Experience leading Acceptance Test Planning
Commercial awareness sufficient to ensure adequate cost control within all areas of responsibility
High level of proficiency in common PC based applications and with knowledge of CAD, Lab Works (but not essential) and related design packages
Ability to work under pressure to achieve project outcomes on time within budget.
Willingness to travel between sites as required
