This is a new role arising within the Central Finance department in head office as a result of recent expansion and acquisitions. The role will also require processing across multiple ERP platforms as we move to a single consolidated ERP environment.
The main purpose of the role will be to assist the Financial Department with the provision of timely and accurate consolidated monthly management accounts and to manage the annual statutory audit process.

Main Duties:

Preparation of monthly management accounts to set deadlines.
Preparation of support schedules and back up to the management accounts.
Management and maintenance of the consolidated management accounts pack.
Preparation of monthly Group Board reports.
Daily treasury management (across multiple ERP systems).
Intercompany Reconciliations / Balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparation of annual statutory accounts and tax computations.
Grant preparation and claims management.
Monitoring of R&D Tax Credits – monitoring of all R&D project expenditure and associated cost.
Patent box relief.
Group budget consolidation and management of versions.
Internal controls – Process documentation, review, testing and development.
Internal controls and system documentation for new ERP modules.
Management of statutory audit and the preparation of draft statutory accounts.
Other project based work will be required on an ad hoc basis.

Additional Responsibilities:

Identification of improvements to internal processes and controls.
Periodic travel to other Westland sites may be required.
Any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested.

Desirable criteria

A recently qualified financial accountant – preferably, but not necessarily, ACA.
Proactive / Can do attitude towards work. Onsite presence essential.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a wider large finance team.

Head Office – Granville Industrial Estate Dungannon.

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
