We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Rail Depot Manager to lead our team at the Brighton Rail Depot. This key leadership position is responsible for ensuring the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of our depot, overseeing all aspects of maintenance, logistics, and staff management. We're open to strong managers from other sectors with production such as aviation, automotive, bus, military or marine.

Depot Operations: Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry regulations.
Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain the highest safety standards.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the depot’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising safety or quality.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth and effective depot operations.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Proven experience in a managerial role within the rail industry, preferably in depot or maintenance operations.
In-depth knowledge of rail safety regulations and maintenance standards.
