Payroll Delivery Coordinator

Location: Bolton, BL6 6SU

Hours of work: 37.5

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract (9 Months)

The Payroll Delivery Coordinator will support the payroll function within ISS UK, providing system admin support and covering the day-to-day administration activities of the central team.

Job Description

As Payroll Delivery Coordinator, you will ensure that timely and accurate requests from the business are completed, facilitating the efficient processing of the fortnightly payroll.

A key aspect of your role will be to enhance the employee experience by ensuring the highest quality submission of new starter details within the bespoke payroll system.

Additionally, you will support the wider Central Payroll team with the mobilisation of new TUPE contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that employee experience is of the highest quality through the submission of new starter details within bespoke payroll system
  • Supporting of the wider Central Payroll team with the mobilisation of new TUPE contracts
  • Administration of group mailboxes ensuring that all amendments and queries are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Processing of Employee payments, overpayments and CHAPS Recoveries as authorised by the business
  • Supporting the business to meet compliance controls, assisting in gathering data for annual audits, both internal and external. Ensuring GDPR is always at the forefront of our work
  • Processing of fortnightly sick logs and bonus payments
  • Authorising payroll on a fortnightly basis
  • Supporting the payroll delivery team leader with ad hoc duties in key times of the payroll process
  • Delivering a high-quality payroll customer service experience

About You:

  • IT proficient (including Excel and Outlook); confident in handling and working with data
  • A passion and demonstrable skill for first class, professional customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a workload to meet deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, enabling full support to the team
  • Awareness of GDPR and Data Subject Access Requests
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships within the team and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
