An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Retail Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a shopping centre site in Farnborough, GU14 area.

Hours: On average 36 - 48 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Sunday 07:00am - 19:00pm, 08:00am - 18:00pm, 16:00pm - 01:00am & 19:00pm - 07:00am. 

Pay: £12.22 per hour. 

The officer will be required to conduct regular patrols of the site which include residence blocks, car park as well as the shopping centre.

The officer will be joining a eight man team. They will be required to liaise with members of the public, the shopping centre tenants as well as the client.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site.
  • Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site.
  • Complete various security documentation.
  • Liaise with supervisor / manager effectively and efficiently.
  • Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom.
  • Supervise and control site access.
  • Conduct regular site patrols. 
  • Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder.

Person Specification

  • A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.
  • A full five year checkable employment history.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach.
  • IT skills.
