We're looking for a User Experience ( UX Designer) to join our team in London as part of our Marketing function.
Your Team: The Digital Marketing team is a central function within Ascential supporting a number of market leading businesses.
As such you should be a self-starter who is comfortable working independently as a key technical specialist, as well as closely alongside the other Digital Marketing team members, as well as the individual businesses. Due to the bespoke requirements of each business, the projects are varied so you should be effective at multitasking and prioritising your workload.
Data driven user journey and IA design
Conduct UX audits for all of our Marketing real estate – forms, landing pages, emails, site journeys etc leveraging user data and empirical research based on UX best practice
Create or update marketing assets (landing pages, email templates, web pages)
Brief data and insight team on user data needs to gather quantitative data
Leveraging user data and leading empirical research to provide recommendations and new UX designs
Conduct competitor analysis to assess current positioning and to provide recommendations
Develop backlog for UX enhancements, prioritising using value scoring (value vs. Develop iterative wireframes (from low-fi to high-fi wireframes,) with build notes for the Front-End developers to implement
Work closely with the Head of CX and Strategy to consider UX within the context of wider CX needs
Work within the Digital Marketing team to understand user need states across multichannel
Work with the wider design studio on metadata, version control, and digital asset management for all UX output
You stay on top of new trends and innovations in UX designs and find ways to apply them to your own work.
Strong experience as a UX designer/consultant
Journey design and IA experience, using multiple data points to drive design
Experience of creating and managing design systems
Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a must
Previous experience of conducting user testing via either physical or virtual panels
Power user of visual design software e.g. A data-driven mindset and the ability to strategize with cross-functional teams
Ability to lead and execute multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in A/B testing not essential but appreciated
