Job role : Business Strategy and Development Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated business strategy and development executive to join our business strategy and development team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is self-motivated with a strong work ethic looking to join a supportive and rewarding business environment.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the business development process by generating strategic insights from large complex datasets and conducting market research to support the wider sales team. This role requires strong research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the Harlow’s capabilities and expertise to potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Business Strategy and Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Harlow’s business growth strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Synthesise complex data into actionable insights, presenting results clearly to senior management for informed decision-making and forecasting.
  • Develop comprehensive market research methodologies and proposals.
  • Conduct extensive market research, presenting insights to senior executives, and collaborating with departments to implement necessary modifications.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify marketing requirements and target customer groups, ensuring alignment with Harlow’s business objectives.
  • Support the development of marketing campaigns and liaise with internal stakeholders ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities, leveraging insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct discussions with stakeholders to comprehend business methods, product offerings, and service portfolios, aligning strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with various departments to discuss potential modifications and enhancements based on market research insights.

Essential Requirements: We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor language for different audiences.
  • Strong analytical and research skills to gather and synthesise complex information quickly and efficiently.
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerBI and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
