We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated GP to join our team. We are based over 4 sites with a patient list size of almost 35,000 and rated "Outstanding" by CQC.

  • Mainly 15 minute appointments
  • 4 to 6 clinical sessions
  • 1 additional paid CPD session per week (pro-rata)
  • 4 clinical sessions = £51,044; 6 Clinical sessions = £76,567
  • No Form Filling for Salaried GPs (e.g., Private Work/Insurance Forms etc unless desired and then reimbursed)
  • 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave
  • Indemnity fully paid
  • SystmOne GP Practice - Small extended hours commitment three Saturdays per year (compensated by TOIL) and one late night surgery per month
  • Close to Clumber Park, A1 and M1 and within easy commuting distance from Sheffield, Doncaster, Chesterfield and Mansfield. London less than 1.5 hours by train.

Our Team is made up of:
  • 8 GP Partners, 10 Salaried GPs
  • Clinical Practitioners assisting with patient care and home visits
  • Clinical Pharmacists assisting with medication related queries
  • First Contact Physiotherapists assisting with MSK problems
  • Social Prescribers and Care Coordinators
  • Experienced Management Team (including HR, Practice, Business, Estates, and Appointments)
  • Dedicated administrative team with an experienced secretary pool
  • Fantastic scanning and summarising team undertaking Read Coding
Main duties of the Job
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, compassion and a good bedside manner along with excellent practical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Diligent
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships on an individual, multi-professional and team basis with all levels of staff
  • Ability to travel
And will undertake:
  • Patient consultations over the telephone, and face to face
  • Physical examinations
  • Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses/ailments
  • Health education
  • Relevant administration
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals and/or hospitals
Qualifications Essential
  • Holder of MBBS or MBChB or BMedSci
  • Certificate of Completed Training or predecessor
  • GMC registration
  • On medical performers list
  • Work permit if applicable
Desirable
  • Experience of SystmOne
Experience Essential
  • Experience in general practice and working in a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable
  • Experience of using SystmOne
  • Experience with Primary Care interfaces such as AskmyGP, Footfall, AccuRx.
  • Experience of telephone and video consultations
