TheTeenLeadershipProgramCoordinatormustbeaself-starter,abletoleadthroughstudent-centric strategies, capable of inspiring teens to become lifelong learners and team players.
EssentialDutiesand Responsibilities

Supportapproximately50ormorehighlymotivatedteeninternstosucceedintheirroleasvirtual teaching assistants in Ed Inquiry’s virtual classroom.
Bewellversedinmulticulturalteamworkandbecomfortableworkingwithinaninclusiveand diverse virtual group of interns.
Managetheteeninternprocessfromrecruitmenttooff-boarding,includingobtainingrequired paperwork for employment (work permits) in order to ensure a smooth start of their summer placement.
Communicatewithstaffandinstructorstoensureclearunderstandingofhowtheinternsare performing and how to further support them for their success.
Planandleadorientationandweeklyworkshopstoprepareteenstofulfilltheirresponsibilities. This includes:
Providingleadershiptrainingand tools
CoordinatingwithinstructionalleaderstoensureTeensarealignedwithinstructional content.
CoordinatingwiththetechteamtoensureTeensaretrainedonanytechtoolsneededfor their job responsibilities.
Manageteens’schedulesandensuretimelysubmissionoftheirtimesheetsforpayroll processing.
OverseeweeklyTeenLeaders’ meetings.
Abletobuildstrongrelationshipsandrapportwiththeteeninterns,inordertocreateapositive work experience.
Education and Experience Required

Bachelor'sorMaster's degree
Experienceleadingyouth-serving programs.
Abilityandcommitmenttobuildrelationshipswithyouthofdiverseethnicandsocio-economic backgrounds.
Experiencedesigningandimplementingsystemsand processes.
Goodcommunicationandinterpersonal skills.
Flexibleandadaptabletoafastchanging environment.
Working Environment
This position is a primarily virtual full time contract position with occasional in-person teen meetings held throughouttheyearintheMassachusettsarea.Therefore,wecanonlyconsiderapplicantswhoresidein New England, preferably in the greater Boston area.
