As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be working for the Consumer Finance Platform and specifically in the Loans Lab. You will help transform, modernise and re-imagine the existing customer services, adopting the latest technology and agile ways of working to deliver iterative value at pace. Taking accountability or support running and leading testing across our client’s monthly release cycle, assuring the quality of delivery into these releases. You will be using modern DevOps methods and drive continuous improvements and modern software stacks.

Automating testing where appropriate, updating and streamlining the test automation framework & coding standards
Use your experience of modern software development toolsets and demonstrate the ability to stretch into DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines
Supporting Quality Engineering and Assurance work ensuring the highest quality of shippable products and quality artifacts
Develop yourselves with industry standards, methods and tooling used across our engineering teams and introduce new concepts, approaches and tooling

Deep understanding of testing frameworks and have developed as least one automation framework using libraries in either Selenium or Playwright
Intermediate competency in JavaScript/typescript
Competent using Windows Command Line (CLI)
Experience of modern Agile software engineering practices
Knowledge in other languages: C#, Java, python
Containerisation experience e.g. docker and how this can be used in a test automation context
Opportunity to re-skill and up-skill into new areas, develop non-linear career paths and build a skillset within your field
