Ready to build something bigger? We're looking for a confident, commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our team at MAP Building & Civils Supplies in Ilkeston. If you know your way around building and civils materials and love turning opportunities into long-term customer relationships, this is your chance to make an impact with a trusted local merchant that's part of the Lords Group of companies. What you'll do: Grow sales with new and existing trade and civils customers Build strong local relationships through regular site and customer visits Promote MAP's full product range and deliver top-class service Prepare and follow up on quotes to convert enquiries into orders Work closely with the branch team to achieve sales and margin targets What you'll bring: Proven sales or business development experience in the builders' merchant or civils sector Great local market knowledge and strong communication skills A proactive, results-driven approach and real pride in what you do Confidence negotiating prices and managing customer accounts Full UK driving licence What we offer: Competitive salary + discretionary bonus Company car 23 days' holiday + bank holidays Great team environment with opportunities to grow across the group If you're ambitious, customer-focused, and ready to help drive MAP's next phase of growth, we'd love to hear from you.
