Do you work for a Top 20 Toy Business already?

My client is a global Toy business who are seen as a key player in the industry and are now looking to add a National Account Manager to their team. The account base is open for discussion, due to some internal changes within the business, but you must have experience within either Retail, High Street, Toy stores, Discounters or Grocers.

The role

As a National Account Manager you will report directly into the UK Sales Director and will be responsible for a mix of individually curated accounts. It will be your responsibility to promote the company brand and be the first point of contact within your accounts. You will also be required to meet with your customers on average once a quarter. This role is remote based, with paid travel to the office one day per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee and be responsible for the growth of your key accounts
  • Responsible for the sales budget and forecast
  • Proactively manage the sales life-cycle from introduction to point of delivery
  • Lead and deliver presentations to decision makers within your key customers
  • Sell in new stock and promotions
  • Act as an ambassador of the company
  • Management of own P&L
  • Keep up to date with competitor offerings

Ideal Candidate

You will already be a successful National Account Manager or Key Account Manager working for a Toy business, with experience of managing your own key accounts or co managing accounts. You will be confident and comfortable in a natural sales approach. You must be able to thrive within a fast-paced environment; and have the ability to build strong relationships with your key customers whilst developing the accounts further.
