Sous Chef - Maldron Hotel Shoreditch
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious
Sous Chef
with a real passion for food. Our amazing hotel has an exciting opportunity if you are looking to grow, develop and further your career in the hospitality industry, whilst leading a small motivated team in the preparation of excellent dishes. This is an exciting time of expansion for the Dalata Hotel Group and there are excellent opportunities on the horizon in the UK.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Cluster Head Chef, the Sous Chef plays a vital role in supporting the Daily Operations Management of the kitchen.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Daily Kitchen operations for the hotel.
Lead by example in excellent food production.
Mentor culinary staff.
Deputise for the Head Chef
Requirements:
Experience as a chef in hotels or similar.
Unrelenting focus on quality.
Qualification in culinary arts, or similar is desired,
but not essential.
Ability to support the successful operations of the kitchen.
Ability to build relationships and influence with all levels of the business.
