Sonovision's engineering teams work alongside the largest global OEMs to provide industry-specific design and manufacture services. Engineering Project Manager- Roles and Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Engineering Project Manager has the following roles and responsibilities across multiple aligned programmes.
Project Management:
Performance Monitoring
Responsibility for budget setting and monitoring
Commercial and Technical responsibility for Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Call for Tenders (CFT) in response to customer requests
Strategic implementation of innovation for both Design and Manufacturing streams
Resourcing and load management for entire project team
Risk management for entire programme including assessment and actions
Responsibility for the performance of the tooling programme team including Performance Reviews, Skills Management, training and mentoring
Oversight and responsibility for Approved suppliers and their performance
Drive manufacturing innovation through the implementation new methods and process
Liaison with internal and external stakeholders are varying levels of business in commercial, procurement, design and manufacture domains.
Preparation of Risk Reviews for all onsite activity for company personnel
Maintenance of HSE plans and Policy
Internal training of HSE aspects to all relevant company personnel
Quality and performance:
Interface with and support transnational quality function
Engineering Project Manager- The right candidate will have the following experience:
Experience of project management of large programmes including commercial, financial, resources and technical aspects
Minimum of degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
