In the role of Sustainability Technician, your tasks will include collecting, analysing and sharing ESG data, in which is crucial for advancing our sustainability initiatives and compiling insightful reports. You will create and manage a well-maintained, comprehensive Environmental Product Declaration's (EPDs) library and a Social & Governance (ESG) data repository in order to refer to easily when reporting.

Your contributions will extend across various departments at H+H, where you will facilitate ethical audits and questionnaires, contribute to adherence to ESG regulatory requirements, and assist in formulating strategies aimed at carbon footprint reduction. Your participation in tasks within UKAS-accredited laboratories will be vital to our sustained commitment to ESG and sustainability goals.

Compile, update and maintain a detailed record and summary of the company's sustainability initiatives.
Engage in identifying and highlighting potential ESG risks and opportunities
Manage and coordinate sustainability data requests and assist in improving data collection processes
Provide support in gathering Carbon Accounting data and establishing objectives for carbon footprint reduction
Assist in strategically positioning the Company to successfully meet and leverage future environmental regulatory requirements.
You will be qualified or studying towards a degree level in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Materials Engineering OR have equivalent experience.
It is desirable to have had carbon or environmental training in such GHG accounting or IEMA and also experience in working in a laboratory testing environment.
You will have a passion for sustainability and proactive approach to keeping up to date of new developments and legislation.
You will have a good attention to detail, time management and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
Experience in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook in order to present and write to a diverse stakeholder group.
You will demonstrate adaptability, resilience and embrace change in our dynamic environment, whilst fostering positive relationships through empathy and active listening.
