Responsibilities and duties

As a Director of Controls and Hardware Products you will:
Lead a diverse team of technical experts, engineers, and project managers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and continuously improving environment.
Partner closely with R&D to integrate novel technologies into site trials and product offerings.
Engage with the Product Delivery team to ensure the capacity for delivering products on a large scale.
Supervise both in-house and external resources to meet contractual obligations.
Forge connections with suppliers and negotiate contracts that facilitate product development.
Take ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring its timely delivery and driving towards an industry-leading product portfolio.
Formulate and oversee the budget for the Controls and Hardware Product division, ensuring adherence to budgetary objectives while achieving set goals.
Foster cross-functional cooperation with Technology/Engineering, Services, Product, Security, Innovation, Quality, Growth, and Program Management teams to expand the product portfolio.
Analyse financial performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions regarding product investment strategies.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the controls and hardware products division.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Proven background leading a product development team in digital and physical systems.
Demonstrates the ability to safely deliver innovative products with commercial success.
Possess strong knowledge of renewable technologies, in particular wind turbines.
