Marine Compliance Engineer - £45k to £70k - EV/ Marine - Northern Ireland
One of my key clients who specialise in the Marine sector who are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the Maritime sector are looking for a dynamic and experienced Marine Compliance Engineer.

Role: Marine Compliance Engineer
Salary: £45,000 to £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
The Marine Compliance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all marine products adhere to industry regulations and standards. This role requires a deep understanding of marine compliance requirements, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marine products comply with relevant national and international regulations, standards, and guidelines.
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, including technical files, declarations of conformity, and certification applications.
Standards Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with changes in marine industry regulations and standards, and communicate these changes to the relevant teams.
Product Testing and Validation: Coordinate and oversee testing and validation processes to ensure products meet compliance requirements.
Internal Audits: Conduct internal compliance audits and inspections to identify and address any potential issues or non-conformities.
Risk Management: Perform risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, and product development teams to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into product design and development processes.
Customer and Regulatory Agency Interface: Serve as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams on compliance-related matters and best practices.
Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory bodies as required.

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in a compliance engineering role within the marine industry.
In-depth knowledge of marine industry regulations, standards, and guidelines.
Proficiency in compliance management software and tools.
