As Analyst Programmer, working in a mainly project based environment with commercial deadlines and working in a environment interconnecting with multiple internal and external systems and tightly aligned with Business requirements

This role is an important member of the IT Department working to develop mission critical, scalable, resilient software solutions that meet business requirements and exploit re-use from existing capabilities.

Role Details:

Salary: £55,000pa to £60,000pa

Bonus: Up to 20% - of Salary

Location: Redhill, RH1 1RX

Working Pattern: Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 at home

Contract type: Permanent

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide software designs using appropriate models and work within departmental architectural paradigms and documentation standards
  • Ensure technical and supporting documentation is provided for developments within your area of responsibility
  • Produce code that meets quality, coding and performance standards according to local IT guidelines and policies including, but not limited to, security, auditing and SOX requirements
  • Ensure API and code re-use is maximised for all development activities

Requirements:

Technical skills

  • Proven capability with PL/SQL, and Java
  • Familiar with Amazon Web Services
  • Good technical understanding of Oracle databases and associated tuning techniques
  • Good knowledge of UML modelling
  • Thorough understanding of API integrations
