Purchasing Administrator Office Based, Full Time

Purchasing Administrator (fixed term 12 month maternity cover) Location: 5 hours per week Monday to Friday with core hours 10:00-16:00 Salary: Competitive Business Unit: Sciences Open To: Internal and External Applicants Ref No.: HRJOB10135 The Role Please note that this is a fixed term maternity cover for 12 months The primary function of a Purchasing administrator is to support Almac Sciences in the organisation of all purchase requisitions.
Ensuring that orders are placed within an acceptable time frame guaranteeing, deliveries of the required materials across our multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a business purchasing office, is proficient in Microsoft office packages and will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Key Requirements Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time employment in the UK To be successful in this role you will need GCSE (or equivalent) Mathematics and English Language- at grade C or above.
Previous experience within a purchasing administration role.
It would be desirable for applicants to have 3 A levels Grade A-E (or equivalent), a qualification or previous training within a purchasing related discipline and experience of using a computerised purchasing/inventory system.
