**Purchasing Officer**

**The Role**
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers
- Plan and raise purchase orders for production and general consumables
- Planning and scheduling deliveries
- Negotiating prices for parts and materials
- Source and establish new suppliers to grow supplier database
- Monitor company stock levels
- Attend meetings and provide update on purchasing issues
- Negotiate and develop supplier SLA’s
- Other relevant duties

**Essential Criteria**
- 3rd level qualification or relative experience
- A minimum 2 years experience in a procurement / purchasing role
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to negotiate
- Confident with a positive can-do attitude
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Good computer skills
