Leo Recruitment is looking for an IT Support Technician to join a well-established technology company in Poole, Dorset, known for offering full training, certifications, and a clear path for progression to 2nd Line Support and beyond. Salary & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £29,000 per annum, rising to £30,000 per annum following successful completion of probationary period

The Role: IT Support Technician:

  • As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st Line Support to customers across applications and infrastructure solutions
  • You will log incidents using the IT Service Desk ticketing system, manage and assign ticket queues, and update users on resolution progress
  • Although you will be given the opportunity to resolve more complex issues if you are able to, there will be an escalation point for 2nd and 3rd issues
  • You will have ample opportunity to engage in ongoing IT training and pursue relevant certifications

To Be Successful:

  • You should have around one year of experience in IT support, preferably on a service desk
  • You will need to have experience in supporting Windows servers and desktop operating systems with some experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and Group Policies
  • You will need to have completed, or are motivated to complete, Microsoft or CompTIA courses and certifications
  • It would be advantageous if you have previously worked for a managed service provider

Location: The role will be office-based in Poole, Dorset, with some flexibility for remote working after completion of 6 month probationary period.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (there is an optional alternative of 8:00am to 4:30pm if required).
