The Client:

Our client is a well-established property consultancy firm, specialising in a broad spectrum of surveying services, from construction management and building surveys to dilapidations.

The Role:

As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in the hands-on management of both residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities:

* Maintain up-to-date records and regularly update landlords and tenants.

* Ensure timely collection and forwarding of rents.

* Budgeting, reconciliation, and end-of-period reporting.

* Regular review and action on outstanding debts.

* Conduct periodic inspections and ensure compliance.

* Address issues promptly, including out-of-hours work if necessary.

* Generate and follow up on work orders for vendors or maintenance staff.

* Ensure 24-hour emergency coverage for properties.

* Handle purchase invoices, enter them into the system, and approve for payment.

Requirements:

* Previously worked as a Property Manager or in a similar role.

* Experience in managing commercial properties and service charges.

* RICS qualified.

* Strong communication and organisational skills.
