THE COMPANY: Are you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below. Our client is one of the largest commodities houses in the world. They are looking to hire a Market Abuse Surveillance Expert for their London team. THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct daily market abuse and market integrity surveillance
  • Develop the Market Surveillance systems and processes to ensure the surveillance programme remains robust and effective.
  • Handle referrals and investigations undertaken by Market Surveillance.
  • Responding to requests for information from the FCA.
  • Keep abreast of market and regulatory news that may impact the surveillance programme.
  • Ensure that a full audit trail of analysis / reviews undertaken is maintained and that records are accurate and completed to the highest standard.
  • Draft and update procedure manuals as and when required.
  • Provide support to the rest of the Market Surveillance team on day to day tasks or special projects when required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Surveillance experience is key
  • Metals experience – precious and/or base is a must
