Business Development Manager

We are looking for Business/Client Development Manager, whose key role is to develop and maintain long term collaborative relationships with Main Contractors and Developers. Our client specialises in the manufacturing, converting and distribution of surface protection films, adhesive tapes, membranes and other associated products into the construction sector. They are a specialist supplier to the construction industry, primarily window fabricators, facade manufacturers and modular building manufacturers. There vision is to help construction create safer, higher performance buildings with structural integrity. The main purpose of the role is to support team-wide focus on pipeline projects, working to gain vital information from sites, contracts and customers. The successful individual will be responsible for the following.
- Building a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Calling prospects. Securing their business for all relevant products
- Booking meetings with key prospects
- Presenting to key prospects
- Following up all new enquiries into the business.
- Following up all opportunities
- Maintaining a clean and up-to-date CRM + Pipeline.
- Handing over all won customers to the regional account manager for ongoing customer care.
- Prepared to travel and sometimes outside of core working hours.
- Prepared to spend two weeks at HQ in the UK for induction training and onboarding.
