Job Description

Agile Coach (Contract)

Location: Manchester (hybrid working - 2/3 days a week onsite)

Contract Type: Initial 3-Month Rolling Contract

Rate - Inside IR35: Circa £450-500 umbrella per day)

Our client, a technology consulting firm are seeking an Agile Coach to work with their financial services clients based in Manchester. This is an initial 3-month rolling contract. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting teams to implement and refine agile practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach programme executives on the agile mindset.
  • Assist the team in setting up agile practices within the programme.
  • Aid delivery leaders in shaping PI planning and scoping features for release trains.
  • Guide the team in defining sprint backlogs, Jira burn-downs, and agile ceremonies.
  • Fine-tune team approaches to align with the overall strategy.
  • Lead agile workshops for teams and key stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, setting goals, milestones, and assigning responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience as an Agile Coach.
  • Proficiency in using Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®).
  • Strong coaching skills and hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
