KS2 Class Teacher and Subject Leader for Mathematics

Permanent Position - Required from September 2024

MPS/UPS + TLR2 (£3214)

The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint an inspiring, dynamic and creative teacher who will also be responsible for leading Mathematics across the school.This is a fantastic opportunity to take on an essential leadership role in a happy, thriving and inclusive school.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced, highly-skilled and inspiring teacher
  • Provide a model of exemplary practice in the teaching of mathematics which secures consistently high standards of attainment and progress for all children
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with children, parents/carers and all other stakeholders across the school and wider community
  • Apply skills and experience to work strategically when leading change, through robust systems of planning, monitoring and evaluation
  • Work as a highly effective member of our Senior Leadership Team
  • Clearly demonstrate the skills necessary to motivate, guide and support other colleagues towards continued school improvement
